hopefully ur neighbors are nice people and that ur community will stick together... maybe cities can become locked down and shut down entrances to other cities just so u can defend ur own city?

Find the nearest copy of a paper map that you can.

Grab whatever clothing is nearby and stuff it in your backpack or satchel. If you don't have one, use the clothing to create a bindle.

Fill your bathtub with water.

Fill three coffee cans, one with rocks, one with sand, and one with charcoal.

Ensure that your windows are boarded shut. You may even want to board up the front door. Create a roof entry/egress point for yourself.

Catalog your existing stock of food (whatever you have in the fridge or pantry). Consume anything that requires refrigeration in a "Hey, Doomsday's Here!" feast.

Determine the caloric amounts in your remaining food stock. Ration to provide yourself at least 2000 calories per day if you are going to be walking or doing intensive physical work. Otherwise try and keep it under 1000 calories per day.

Get in touch with your neighbors, encourage them to do the above, and plan a quick meeting to discuss cooperative plans.

Small town of 1000. would like to think that we would stick together. the community of course. and drive out the scum bags who want to hurt each other, then set up camp in town square/the main town buildings. Then we can play bowling across the street. YAY

I fill up the gas tank, come home and put on a new pair of boots. Then I get back on the Internet to see how it's unfolding. I can always scoot to a friends house out in da sticks.

People People People... the ONLY REAL DOOM you all keep dreaming of for EVERYONE IN THE WORLD... would be for the electrical grid of the WHOLE WORLD to be knocked out in some sort of SUN DOOM or other CRAZY DOOM... but LOCAL DOOM... would still take like 1 WEEK from that EVENT ... the FIRST WEEK... people would just be gathering around in the local areas saying WTF? where the hell is the power?



For some reason I kinda want that to happen... POWER OUTAGE DOOM FOR THE WHOLE WORLD... in this day and age... probably has happened in the past... 10's of thousands of years ago as well... but why not? Then we all equal again...

I will find me some hot ass bitches that need help and start a cult or something...

OOOPS ... I live in a warm climate... so would not be so bad... for atleast 1 week... other places could be much worse... would be localized... but the same day? NO DOOM FOR YOU!!!

Put on my vest and hand cannon, get in the truck I EMP-proofed last year and go save the love of my life from the dick head school teacher she married. My 1986 daily driver mechanical diesel still runs...it is 5700lbs of 4x4...good luck getting home in your prius though.

Head to my bugout location and start unpacking all my stuff getting my camp set up.

I really have nothing to fear.Prepared people do not fear any one event.You plan as best you can,and adapt as necessary.

Oh, absolutely. I own most of his collected works.

The only reason I would go to DTF first is that it contains some of the best examples of the right mentalities to utilize in DOOM scenarios.
