What about "The Christ" teachings that we will all be as Sons and Daughters of God as He was a Son of God?
Quoting: HilosPP We are Sons of God. God is our father, and just like a material father, he is all merciful. Is the idea of Transmigration of the Soul not more merciful than the idea of "You have 1 shot, and if you fail or were not born in the right country, you're eternally damned to hell"? The idea that you have unlimited tries to get it right, to get back home back to Godhead with your eternal father, is that not more merciful? When we decided to enjoy in the material world apart from God, he did not want us to come here, but allowed it anyway because of our free will. Just like a real father might not want his Son to leave home. But once we come here he does not relegate us to eternal suffering. At every step along the way we are given the proper guidance to return back home, to the spiritual world. I'm under the impression God longed to be part of Mankind's world and live eternally as one of them. Why would God want to be part of Mankinds world? We are made in his image. The original form of God is that with 2 arms and 2 legs, a human form. He lives in a world Full of Knowledge, Full of Bliss, that is Eternal. He created this material world to reform the finite souls who desired to enjoy without God. Not every Soul made the decision to enjoy without God. We are finite, so we possess everything God has in finite amounts. We have finite amounts of eternity, which is still eternal. We have finite amounts of knowledge and bliss. With our finite amount of knowledge, we had a chance to make correct decision and enjoy with God in his Spiritual World, or here separately in the material world.
