I'm a healthy adult who exercises and takes vitamins. I did not take a flu vaccine.

I contracted the flu two weeks ago. Then my wife got it and got it worse (she doesn't take good care of herself.) Then my daughter got a cold, but not the flu (she is under 2 years old, eats lots of fruit, etc).

Now, at work, 4 of my 8 boys in the residential program I work at have the flu. They all took flu shots about 2 months ago. They all eat processed foods. They have the flu REALLY bad - horrible vomiting, diarrhea, etc.


Maybe there is some truth to your assumptions. I don't know though.
