Dr. Paul spent his life as an obstetrician delivering over 4,000 babies into this world. When you experience the miracle of life thousands of time you tend to respect that and i respect him for it.

I have to straighten out this one. First, I am a Ron Paul supporter, big time.

That said, Ron Paul did deliver 4000 babies, both in the military and as a private citizen.

But, he has been in politics for 35 years. Thankfully.
He has been the lone voice for Constitutionally protected freedoms, fiscal responsibility, and a foreign policy of minding our own business.

BTW, I am currently watching PBS news. They are usually fair, but not this time. they did mention that Ron Paul is in the top 3 for the GOP nomination, but they said little more about him.

what really kills me about the whole "unelectable" thing is Ron Paul has the absolute best chance of stealing liberal votes from Obama of any GOP candidate.

Wants to end the fed's role in gay marriage.

I'm late to this, but I have to say this----

I would personally vote for Paul, but saying that liberals would vote for Paul is not true.

Paul is pro-life and believes in letting the individual states decide whether they would legalize abortion. I personally don't know one liberal who goes with that.

Most Liberals don't want to end the fed, either. Remember the Fed is GOVERNMENT, whch is the word liberals love above evrythong else.

Gay marriage-----same thing as abortion. he's for individual states deciding, but liberals do not want that. They want the FEDERAL government to mandate gay marriage, like they want aboetion to be federally mandated.

Paul is also totally for gun rights----------Liberals don't like guns and want them banned or decreased.

I don't think Paul has a hard on for the U.N. like most liberals have.

I' agree with most of what Paul says and would vote for him, but that is not true that liberals love him. In fact, most liberals I know see him as a right-wing lunatic, unfortunately.
