What does Jesus mean in John 14:12 when he says, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who

In verse 12 itself the promise cannot be limited to the apostles, for Jesus says that anyone who
believes will do greater works. In the wider context of John 14 Jesus' main purpose has been to
assure his disciples that his absence from them will be even better than his personal presence. He

eternal future with Jesus can only be secured by his atoning death. The cross is the means by

Why believe this statement and call his other teachings a lie? You believe one thing he says, but not another? What criteria do you use to determine which statements you feel are valid and which ones you feel aren't?

Well, I do know god, I know you don't think I have the right interpretation, but it is the way that I feel. I am happy with that, I live a good life, I help the less fortunate than myself. If Jesus being God is such a false doctrine why has my life gotten 1000% better sense I have come to know him? Why am I happier than I have ever been? Maybe it is my lesson to come to earth and experience life as a Christian.

2 reasons the 'bible' is religious opinions and assumptions and Spiritually worthless:

1. the is not the Word of God.
The Word of God is: Love.
a word is 1 (one) word, not a book full of words.

2. Our Creator aka God is Perfect;
the 'bible' is far from Perfect.

Or perhaps we can agree in God's teaching that All Men are Evil and only seeks the desires of their own selfish hearts.

I believe God to be one of Re-Creation, born of Hell with the promise of Heaven. Doesn't seem to me it would ever be God's will to have China kill all their baby girls and to fill the streets with the blood of the Innocent and enslave all of creation to a facist monetary system of paper. Obviously it is still up to debate tho.
