Different people suffer in varying degrees. Waking up every morning feeling like she got hit by a bus and it wasn't long before she started on the narcotics, i may not like it personally, but only you can be the judge of your own pain and what works best to lessen it. I have met some people who are bedridden from it and others who are wheelchair bound, so I consider my wife somewhat lucky. There is nothing worse than suffering from an illness that no one can really do anything about. You would be surprised at the number of people who actually suffer from this disease, and the varying degrees to which they suffer. Thats why it is so hard to find a treatment. Good luck to you. You are not alone. |

To the OP and everyone on this thread!!!!!! You need to research Iodine! We have Iodine receptors on every cell in the body. One of the doctors in the Iodine Project Group said in an interview that if everyone was Iodine sufficient there would be no need for pain medications (he also said no need for antidepressants as well) There is a lot to learn about Iodine and you can do it by checking out this thread Thread: IODINE - What they DON'T tell us about this MIRACLE nutrient! UNBELIEVABLE! And going here: [link to www.iodine4health.com] In addition you might want to check out Dr. Jacob Tietelbaum's website. He is an expert in Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia. [link to www.endfatigue.com] He sort of lumps both illnesses together and states that in order to heal you have to address (SHIN) Sleep, Hormone Balance, Infection in the body, And Nutrition. He also recommends taking D-Ribose (5grams/3x day) D-Ribose is a natural sugar (not the "bad" type) that the body needs to produce energy in the heart and cells of the body...taking it allows the individual to have more energy. Lastly you might want to google "Coffee Enemas" and Fibromyalgia. Coffee enema's helps remove toxins from the liver & blood, increases glutathione (our master antioxidant) production... Hope this helps! |

The term "fibromyalgia" has unfortunately become a catch-all term. TRUE fibromyalgia has characteristic trigger points, and that is the basis for the diagnosis. So if you TRULY have fibro it's important to find out what your PRIMARY DIAGNOSIS is. Don't fart around with anyone but a qualified rheumatologist for your workup and diagnosis. 1) About 85% of fibro patients have FULL RESOLUTION of their fibro symptoms after getting their calcium/magnesium ratios corrected. I was always under the impression (and even told as much by my GP) that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a "waste basket" diagnosis. One they toss at you when they can't figure out what's really wrong. It took several years before finally being directed to a rheumatologist that specializes in Fibro that I got my diagnosis. My Fibro plays off my arthritis and vice-versa. When one flares up, the other does as well. It has gotten so bad that one flare landed me in a wheelchair for a couple of weeks. |

Drink the purest water you can, stay well hydrated, urine should be pale yellow/clear. Make sure you get adequate sleep. Stay active with yoga, walking, and light exercise. Look up the diet to be sure what to avoid, but foods to be eliminated include meat, wheat, dairy, nightshade vegetables (tomatoes, potatoes, peppers), citrus, concentrated sweets, and caffeine.
