7.5 magnitude Earthquake strikes Vanuatu on Sunday morning

(TheWeatherSpace.com) -- The USGS has updated a large earthquake that hit Vanuatu, in the Southwestern Pacific Ocean.

A magnitude 7.5 earthquake struck just 39 miles of Vila, Vanuatu on Sunday morning before sunrise.

The quake hit at 3:55 a.m. local time. Estimations are there will be reports of light to moderate damage from the USGS.
