Quoting: napoleanblownapart Assuming we meet our agreed upon production quota, my company alone will have produced and placed in consignment well over a million. This doesn't include what the government has ordered from other companies. |

If the government wanted general purpose body bags for "just in case" scenarios, they would not order them with the chemical treatments you described, correct? But the fact they HAVE ordered millions of these date-sensitive, treated bags, coupled with the millions of FEMA coffins being stored around the country recently, it certainly gives us all reasonable cause to be very, very concerned. . |

The majority of our clients are foreign. Way back, I made known my sincere concerns about the buyout of our stock of Burn Bags (NBC body bags that are burn friendly.) Also, the massive buyout of NCB in-line bunker filters for advanced filtration systems. Quoting: Jake101 How long ago is "way back"? A year or so. |

(OP) User ID: 1517873 United States 08/24/2011 01:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Pysops. Like you'd really rat on your government customer paying you top dollar? I'm not "ratting" on anyone. As of right now, no illegal activity has taken place. I'm also not willing to risk my employment over the government wasting money. It's fine that you doubt me. Can't please'em all. Why would a company manufacture something that becomes toxic after 1 year? What happens to these "filters" after they are used or expired? I'm assuming landfill? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1492966 Why can't this guy make a product that is less poisonous? All NBC filters eventually become toxic. Gas mask filters, in-line, even hospital units. I'm quite certain if there was a way to create a longer lasting filter, it would be utilized. It's why when purchasing a gas mask (or any prep really,) you should be extremely careful about expiration dates. While some expiration dates are created to force resupply, on filters, they start to dissolve inside the housing unit. For instance, the M17 Gas Mask arguably caused all manner of cancer/death when the government issued filters out of expiration. It was somewhat of a scandal. Quoting: Jake101 Way back, I made known my sincere concerns about the buyout of our stock of Burn Bags (NBC body bags that are burn friendly.) Also, the massive buyout of NCB in-line bunker filters for advanced filtration systems. I am making this update to remind everyone of the reason of my concern, and the time line. First and foremost, these products were purchased from me and my company at no-bids. Usually, the government (or whomever) puts out feelers, gets bids and chooses a supplier. For these goods, I just got a mass order number, and a new demand request for their bulk order to be delivered to our warehouse for their consignment storage on Oct. 23'rd. They also purchased our available stock on top of their production demand. This is "no-bid" meaning "Charge us whatever the heck you want." This is very rare, and I've only seen it done in times of emergency (like Katrina.) The main concern I have, the body bags have anti-biotic properties and fire accelerates. One year after the date of manufacture, they will lose all effectiveness. The NBC filters about 5. After those dates, the filters (and body bags) will actually become much worse than useless... they will become toxic to handle and definitely dangerous to use. To digress, a ton of money was spent to expedite a gigantic order of things which have very strict expiration dates. Read into this what you will. Well OP, the first thing I thought was war. But, you say these filters are specifically for underground bunkers. So, it sounds like something bigger. I read yesterday about large shipments being secretly made which were refrigerated. Some got the idea that a pandemic was the idea due to the fact that the drivers could not shut down the trucks. Carrying live viruses. I guess we will know soon enough. That is ASSUMING of course that you even keep them long enough in your own stock TO expire....... But out curiosity, I would like to know what department, or what agency ordered these? A mailing addy would be nice, or at least clue me in on the STATE they will be shipped to? Depending on your answer, I could probably discern a time line.... Not only that, but I wrote .gov a poem ya see, and am anxious for them to read it.........heh heh..... |

Originally we were scheduled to hold them in consignment in the SE of the country. Now, we're holding them right here, in SW Ohio. So unfortunately I can't help you much there. Regarding expired stock, they're destroyed via EPA guidelines. Well OP, the first thing I thought was war. But, you say these filters are specifically for underground bunkers.
