Thread: List of gardening seed companies that get some or all of their seed from Monsanto

Hey, guys. Check out the link in the OP. I'm bummed! A couple of the seed companies I've always trusted and liked are on the Monsanto supplied list.

Shit, Territorial Seed is on the "bad" list. That was where I liked to get seeds.

Re: >>>>Sustainable Living PLUS Canning and Dehydrating Food<<<<
Christmas Morning Cinnamon Rolls

18 Rhodes frozen dinner rolls
1 Cube Butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1-2 tsp cinnamon
1 box jello butterscotch pudding (the kind that has to cook)

Place the rolls in a bundt pan, or oversized disposable loaf pan. Melt butter and mix in brown sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Pour butter mixture over frozen rolls. Sprinkle pudding mix over the top. Cover loosely with foil and let rise on the counter overnight. Remove foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or so. Invert pan onto serving plate and enjoy.

Flava - I put this on the recipe thread too. These are so easy and yummy!

Hey, SO. I got everything to make these, but I just noticed...how much is a "cube" of butter?

1/2 cup, don't use margarine - it won't turn out right.

Me, too, OG! You don't have to put anything out here. If you feel more comfortable or just need to vent, pm one of us. Or someome! I'm learning the hard way AGAIN about holding stuff in. You and I, we both live in the ultra-sticks. It's hard to find someone to talk to. If it weren't for all of you, I'd have gone bonkers some time ago. Just know, we're all here for each other and care about each other. Odd, since we all have yet to meet, but it's true. Thinking about you, kiddo.

Other news, Nine's is still under an IP ban and feeling kind of unloved by the forum. It might be awhile before she's back. She told me she's catching up on household chores right now, but to tell you all Hi, and Happy New Year's.

She did and so did Flav. She couldn't sign in at first, but she can now. She's just kind of mad about it right now. She had posted a link when she wasn't signed in. I don't know if it was one of the "bad" ones or not. After Flav pm'd one of the mods, Phen, I think, Nine's could sign in. She likes to lurk, so that's why she's upset. I'm working on her. My IP used to get banned all the time and I just logged in around it. That's all she has to do. She'll be back.

While I've got you, do you use the small or large box of pudding for the rolls? Sorry about the cube question. If I'd been feeling better, I'd have remembered it. I haven't heard the term in awhile, so maybe my pea-brain wouldn't have remembered!

Sorry about the confusion on the butter. I always buy the box of 4 cubes. I actually had to go look on one and see how much it really was. Lol. As for the pudding, I use the small box - it has to be the "to cook" kind, not the instant.

I got the cooked kind, I saw that!LOL I bought 2 small boxes in case I needed a big one. I'm going to make some for us and some for hubs to take to work. Everyone there is feeling a little picked on and abused, too.

OG, you have mail. I wish Tiny would come back. I wonder if she has internet right now. I hope she's ok. Flav is probably busy with end of year stuff. I know hubs is.

Year end - I've started working on mine for home and work. Went in to the office for a few hours on Saturday. Seems I can get more done when no one else is around to interrupt me.

Holy Crap! Maureen are there extra seats in your cookware anoymous group? I found 7 cake pans in my cubbard and I dont bake!! I think they have been there since the day I moved here 11 yrs ago, its a cab thats tall and high and they were on the top shelf. Since I am short, I had no idea.

Did you guys see the huge sunspots on Nins thread? I dont profess to know much about that stuff, although I have tried to learn, I just dont get that technical stuff I guess. But... those suckers look huge. I hope they do fall apart like all the recent ones when they turn towards earth.

Couldnt agree more mama.

Yup I am cleaning in between year end, the numbers and grid lines of the spread sheets get to me so I do some and take a break, pick a closet and tear it up.

I have 8 large bags of stuff so far for red cross. They are coming to pick it up next week and anything I dont have done by then will go to the womens shelter.

I used to cut it with scissors, so it would look like stained glass pieces. I thought I bought enough molds before Christmas, but I didn't. I realized it after I got them home and looked at them better. I still want to get a few more, though. I need enough for the whole batch. I saw the cutest one for lollipops, but I was good! I didn't get it. It was angels. Maybe next time!LOLOL
