We do not know what is happening, but most stations are showing a gradually thicker tremor line. Nothing to be afraid of as this is certainly not eruption linked but it may be moving magma. Even the very insensitive CTIG is showing the thicker graph line. This kind of thicker line may also be weather related, but we are not aware of any bad weather at El Hierro. The authorities have called a Yellow alert weather status for the coastal areas of most of the islands. Strong winds and heavy surf are expected from 18:00 today at least until tomorrow. The thicker seismograph line on the seismograph may be related to this bad weather.
