What is the cause of the "Uncle" posts being so discredited?

It is now a standing joke that if info came from an uncle that it is automaically discredited.

Does anybody have a creditable realitive that worked for the CIA, DOE or Military Intelligence?

Did they relay information to you after they retired?

Did they die of mysterious circumstances shortly after retiring?

How about working for defense contractors?

How about astronomers?

Anybody?

Typically, when someone's "Uncle" says something, it is never backed up by any verifiable facts, or data.

Internet rumors tend to be discredited for lack of proof.

Them uncles are a buch of lyin bastidges, ain't they.

Now anything that says uncle is absolutely false. what a clever move by the shills.

I agree, real secrets are not easily verifiable by some internet site.
