The first question that came to my mind was, how big will these pieces be when they get here? I read the stories from 1871, and found no comfort in the results seen then. The only good news from 1871 was that it was fairly localized(globally speaking). I can think of a lot of places smaller than that fire that nobody would miss (like Washington DC).
