***Bunkers Around Western North America***
I have been doing some MORE research (as if it ever ends) on my days off and have come across the Diefenbunkers. These were the bunkers built during the 'Cold War' era in Canada incase someone had itchy fingers to turn a key and push a button.

Now there are alot of websites out there that have tours and such to go 'back in time' and get a glimpse of what it could've been like had someone turned a key and pushed a button, BUT ONE OF MY ARMY BUDDIES KNOWS OF SOME THAT ARE IN JASPER AND BANFF NATIONAL PARKS.

These mountain bunkers start off as 12x12 foot holes in sides of mountains and the entrances stretch 100M horizontally into the mountains, they have multiple anterooms built and multiple tunnels deeper into the mountain once you enter the corridor, ALSO there is a bigger than normal anteroom that leads even deeper into the mountains, he didnt dwell deeper inside the cave because his wife was starting to panic a little bit.

I have found maps and such of the trails and the mountain peaks, found some names of the peaks where the caves are also.

I WOULD INTEND THIS THREAD BE USED TO PUT INFORMATION FOR BUNKERS THAT ARENT ONLINE ANYMORE AND CAVE SYSTEMS THAT WOULD AND PROBABLY WILL BE USED IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

I dont plan on giving out info about where I am because to much is at risk for me.

MAYBE JUST ONE LINK TO SPICE IT UP A BIT.

NOT what I had in mind but would do, have to be optimistic (that depth is not enough)

LOL, yeah that was just a joke. i technically have no bunker. i do have access to a few natural pits. i figure it would be easier to dig into the side of them when the time comes. one of them is already a good 15-20 feet deep. i figure if it comes down to needing a bunker to survive, it is not worth it. i will die with a smile on my face either way, proud to have experienced life
