Earthquakes are Now a Greater Threat to Nuclear Plants?

I find this article found on Yahoo to be both intolerable and too ridiculous to believe.

Nuclear Power is SAFE! Any comments to the contrary are simply without merit. Science has proven beyone any doubt that Nuclear Power is not and cannot be a threat to the population. President Obama himself has stated that Nuclear Power is safe and has lifted all restrictions against resuming the deveopment of more nuclear reactors.

Fukushima has proven that even the worst damage imaginable can be sustained and safety is not compromised. Even floods in the midwest don't harm Nuclear Power Plants.

I hesitate to post this article as I am certain all GLP'ers will agree with me, but in the interest of science and honest reporting, I am posting it. Please don't come away thinking that Nuclear Power is any kind of threat to humanity because it simply isn't.

The nation's nuclear regulator believes a quarter of America's reactors may need modifications to make them safer.
