Is this social security Issue with the Tea Party a smear campaign or truth

Obama is the only one who has threatened to withhold SS checks.

That is what I believe..so its a smear campaign.Makes sense

You know people that collect social security, and are just now registering to vote, SO THEY CAN KEEP GETTING PAID.

You're probably aren't seeing the same problem that I'm seeing, are you.

I am just passing on a conversation I had with someone who seems very smart and a nice person.I see might be.I see war as the problem mostly

Social security can't survive as is. The only question is when the changes come, and if they come planned and voluntarily or unplanned and by force of the markets.

The thing is, people just sit back and don't pay any attention at all, while all this crap goes on right under their noses.

They're being robbed blind, flim flammed, bam booz-eled, murdered, and screwed up the ass every day.

And they don't even bother to register to vote until somebody threatens to take their check away.

The war money as well,gotta be honest.I don't have the charts in front of me,but it would seem that the disabled soldiers pay of the many many wars,is astronomical.I know just from the first Iraq war.Shell shocked soldiers ect ect.If there is going to be pain,its gonna be across the board for sure.wont be pretty either.but then again,who knows.I tend not to dwell in the doom so much.I will be okay as my soul goes,perhaps money too.but others,may not.

I will say,I have no idea,why social security is paying for my work related injury.That is why I am on it.And the work insurance company is getting a huge break.I am supposed to be getting about 1900 a month from workers compensation.But with the social security comp cut off law,the insurance company gets to only pay 1100 a month.That is a 800 dollar a month break.That is absurd to say the least

The only solution to the social security and medicare problem is to levy the tax on 100 percent of all earned income, including the hefty bonuses given to the upper 5 percent or more of earners.

Then, have a separate treasury for the funds that the Congress can never borrow from to fund their foolishness.

Then start taking people like drug addicts and alcholics off the disability rolls. They get the disability checks so why should they go for treatment or re-hab?

Reform it all. They know there is a lot of fraud in both systems and need to make some changes to eliminate that.

They can also stop giving benefits to illegals who should get nothing.

I don't know what the tea party people say about it all.

I just know that a little common sense and good money management would go a long way to fixing both social security and medicare.

This sounds a little weird. Makes no sense actually.
No one has to register to vote to get social security.
Whoever is spreading this one is lying, figuring everyone else is a moron.

If it isn't logical, it's probably not true.

wow must have touched a nerve,let me say.I donated over 2000 dollars to Ron Paul.I post nuetral to get to the truth.I did not mean to post anything anti anyhing,except perhaps,or indeed obama.I did not want to post anything abusive about Ron,who I have seen in person.I talk to people.Many of my friends are disabled.So I hear there stress,the same stress that hard working people have.I am here to fight the system.I asked the person,if she registered GOP.Because I know Ron Paul is in line with my thinking or I would never have donated over 200o grand.But why did someone think I posted a abusive post?does not matter.Obama we all know is bad.We all know RON ,he won the last election.At least I do.I am not sure if even voting is real.I thing the vote is,and has been rigged.Luv yas all.

And I want to add,one more fact.I was exsposed to Benzine at camp lejune nc USMC.Young and dumb lol.Shortly there after,while driving a big rig,I had a dizzy spell,while at the same time being cut off by a car with kids,I just turned the rig away.saved some lives.


Now the know the benzine in the water at the USMC base effected the health of many marines,as there are many lawsuits going on now.So,My disabilty is service related.I cant prove it,just know it.This is America.Poison the population,Poison the soldiers,even poison your kids.Should they pay for this?????surley I think they should.I am not the first in line to get a flu shot lol.I can make my own silver C.So Just know my posting style is in truth.Yea,I have memory and other issues.But I really know how to think outside,and inside the box.sorry to who ever,I offendded

ALL the repub candidates hate social security and several have said it should be privatized (handed over to Wall St) or just killed.

Obama was warning that SS checks were endangered by the republikan campaign to shut down the govt over the deficit ceiling fight.

Ron Paul wants to "shore up" social security about as much as I want to chew glass.

The Tea Party is not against Social Security. It is against entitlements. People pay into Social Security. It is not an entitlement. Democrats try to scare people into thinking Social Security is an entitlement, it's not.

They can't afford people thinking it is different though, cuz if they did, they would think differently of people being given handouts who never paid into the system.

So they call Social Security an entitlement, even though it's not, and the MSM follows along with the agenda, because they are corrupt, and then you have people like yourself who get confused.

Bottom line they want you to think welfare recipients are just like you, someone who paid into the system all your life, this way you will have sympathy and vote their way.

They can't do this by saying they paid, because they didn't, they say you are asking for entitlement just like them, even though you're not. Understand now?

I agree totally.I worked 20 years,100 hour weeks as a trucker.Overtime was big money in the teamsters.When I became disabled.I was making between 1500 a week to 2000 a week.So I did pay into the system.I probably get close to the max.Good karma for you.I admire your informative post and your politeness.
