i think there is an 'occupy washington' on oct 2. there are planned mass gatherings in Freedom Square. i think the organizers are planning for more than 20,000. sort of like the american version of Tarir Square.

Maybe GLP members can all go in a GLP tour bus!?!?!?!

the concept is good but the message is flawed because there really is none. Pin point one demand and stick to it.

you need a clear message and demand. Broad requests will be met with broad meaningless responses.

The 17th may be too late, depending on what happens this weekend.

While I would agree that wall street and its corporations are to blame for destroying our planets ecology and transferring wealth from the many to the few and that this has to change before we have a sustainable world, be careful!

Wall street is well aware of what it has done and will not go down without a fight, you can rest assured they have given this some thought.
We live in times where it is way too easy to influence and manipulate large masses of people with twitter and facebook. Don't forget that anything can be faked in this digital era!
Violence and anarchy in the street will only work in their favor and strengthen their hand. Anarchy is a tool to create fascism.
When the majority of americans realize the truth then and only then will peaceful demonstrations bring about positive change. Knowledge and true understanding is the real key to power.
