Lets compare:

14,000 multiplied by, lets say, $8.00 a round

Or

14,000
x 8.00
$112,000

VS.

Considering the amount of rounds they actually store there from a stock take point of view this is probably a normal miscount.
On the firing range they probably shot more than they wrote down.

I just find the timing suspicious. It might not be much in the big picture, but it could do lots of damage at a mall or local ball game or some other event.

Re: 14,000 Rounds ammo missing from Ft. Bragg
My CPR was deliberately inflated to account for even the most costly of munitions to cover even artillery. The information that I have encountered has not reported what type of ammunition has been misplaced.

But even at an extreme inflation, it pales by comparison to the amount of money that is spent on military assets. Overall increasing my arguments strength, because I cannot be rebutted by my miscalculation of how much this is actually costing the United States Military.

Stupid sheeple, 14000 rounds is nothing , the average platoon exercise uses triple that on a normal training day. That means 1 days worth of 1 platoons ammo is missing...most likely a simple accounting error.

Pfffttttt, 14,000 rounds is hardly anything relatively and wouldn't even fill a small closet. I know someone with at least twice that much

14l rounds, depending on the caliber, might fit in the trunk of one compact vehicle......it's not that much...

On the other hand, if we're talking 30 or 37mm rounds, that would be a different story and the ATF would be the prime suspects.
