Yeah really he is action man....but only native russian knows all truth what is really going in Russia. I was living there 33 years, I know what I'm talking about. Actually he isn't a good guy, but strong leader. Also we had our's 9/11 in 1999 then hundreds of innocent people were died in their houses explosions. Putin said it was a terror acts, but some people didn't buy it.There were evidence that it was an inside job by FSB, like yours 9/11. Check on youtube video called "Putin blows up Russia". The reason was to cease Chechen war, and he did it...

In this day and age, you have to be a strongman to survive. If Putin wasn't, Russia would have disintegrated a decade ago, broken apart by Europeans, Chinese, and Americans.

I'm not a fan of Putin, that's why I left Russia 4 years ago. Living in Russia is tough for 90% of people due to total corruption, low life level...Can you imagine that medium salary in Russia (outside of Moscow) around $600-700 a month, minimal salary $160...The rest 10% of people who are in oil amd gas business they are very reach and well...
Recently Putin has finished to build a castle that costs more than 1 billion dollars on the shore of Black Sea, it all counts
