I heard(read, actually. In a brazillian magazine) that Gravity Waves can be translated into the 'sounds of the universe'. Interesting stuff... Here is what it says:

The gravitational waves, that would be the sound sources of the vacuum are a theory that is still waiting for confirmation, since we have not detected them. Still, there are simulations of how black holes would sound like. Another work that has to do with the sounds of the cosmos are from the New Zealand artist Honor Harger. His project, "Radio Astronomy" reflects the electromagnetic waves coming from space in the form of audible sounds. For example, the constant noise emitted by the sun, the sound of Jupiter interacting magnetically with Lo, its nearest moon and the sound of the beating of a pulsing star.
