Had a look at the live streaming video from NASDAQ, right in "Day of Rage" ground zero, and I see about four people and a couple of taxis driving by.

Have to laugh at that one. The police there are regular cops pulled from precincts around the city for the protest. Like any other protest/parade that they have in the city.

Saying "riot police" is just trying to make it sound ominous.
