Earthquake History
The earthquake activity in this region is due to the Indian plate diving (thrusting) beneath the Eurasian plate. The state is mainly mountainous and underlain by several thrust faults. Most significant are the Main Boundary Thrust (MBT), the Main Central Thrust (MCT) and the Himalayan Frontal Thrust (HFF).

So it is to assume that we are seeing the Indian plate diving (thrusting) beneath the Eurasian plate, as activity continues...

It is showing that the ionsosphere is not particularily "disturbing" right now, and that this quake is not a direct cause from it...

"Geomagnetic storminess is usually indicated in oscillatory variations in the earth's magnetic field. Additional detail concerning the nature and severity of the ionospheric disturbance can be found through analysis of the three components of the field."
