GDACS estimates the likelihood for need of international humanitarian intervention to be high (Red alert). This earthquake can have a high humanitarian impact since the affected region is moderately populated and has medium resilience for natural disasters. The earthquake 151km from the city of Thimbu. "Geomagnetic storminess is usually indicated in oscillatory variations in the earth's magnetic field.
