I'm So Tired of US Basher!

That really has been the Con of such Limited Democracy from its very inception.

And even then what issues do we really even get to vote on at a national or even State level, or for that matter even on a County and City level? We get one vote for each 'office' of 'representation'... not usually on any given single issue.

And not only that but its like only once every two years, usually. And "they" call this democracy?

But the full democracy in a population of over 300 million people would mean that every day there would be hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of new proposals or ideas for "we the people" to cast our vote on.

Really, there is no known real solution for any form of governance that seems even remotely workable so as to even please 66% of the people 66% of the time.

Every time I talk with my US House Rep, I remind myself that my voice is but 1/650,000th of all the voices he could be hearing (in his head?) of all the people he is supposed to be 'representing'. Think about that a minute, your voice is only 1/650,000th at best of the 'voice of the people' that your own US House Rep is to be at least "hearing" if not agreeing with.

The old adage that is thread bare worn tattered an tired, is "America, love it or leave it". Such does an incredible disservice to every American. That adage should be "America, Love it or Change it for the better".
