You're welcome. A friend emailed it to me, after doing a search, the author of this report appears to write exclusivly for..a site I can't post. I can't believe this isn't talked about, it IS amazing! These people are truly heros and unknown!

This is amazing! I was on the 88th floor of one WTC. I got out just two minutes before tower one fell. I was just outside the world financial building. I wandered at the water's edge for I don't know how long. I was one of the people rescued by boat and shown in this film. I never saw this before. I would love to know which boat and captain took me on to thank him. I am the man in shirt and tie about 8 minutes into the film. Also thanks to the filmmaker for posting this.

Looking at the 'stats', that's nearly 56,000 people an hour moved from the Island onto boats, seems too high a figure to be believed. May be it's true, who knows for sure?

I watched 9-11 all day and for days after. I remember seeing on the news that the boats ferries were carrying people non stop.
then again i also remember the whole building 7 report of it collapsed and it had not happened yet. I also remember a fireman reporting that the tower had explosions in it then it went down. so ya. I remember a lot from that day.

Wow thank you for posting that! I live in NJ near where the ferries dock, and I had no idea so many private boats also helped out that day, or how MANY people were evacuated by boat. It is a poignant reminder that under extraordinary circumstances, ordinary people do come together and show the best side of humanity.

My Thinking Friend in NYC took one of these boat rides to NJ that day...and arrived on the shore to find a completely operational FEMA center.

It had been setup the day BEFORE.
