That's why our produce and meat departments look like crap, unless you happen across either overstocked or perishables they have problems transporting overseas. It's a world economy, get use to buying your American peaches from foreigners. They own it. One day maybe we will have a gandi like thing and declare that those who work the land own it. ossssss§:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+:+> |

Quoting: Elenin Everyone's got a nice cushy job and can afford $7.95/lb for a package of Oscar Myer Center Cut? Got to stop paying for the advertisements and packaging. It is Park Avenue's job to make you think Oscar Meyer whenever you think of bacon. I can afford it but I won't pay it. Well, I understand where you're coming from but anything else just isn't the real thing. The "discount brand" offers more fat than bacon. Yuk! |

O.M. is definitely top shelf but you can't (?) have tenderloin every night. I have had good luck with certain brands sold by restaurant wholesalers like Cash and Carry an Restaraunt Depot. 15 pounds at a time beats the 12 and 16 ounce packages at the grocery store. |

Several folks in Missouri were convicted of conducting guided hunts on federal land. No trees were killed in the sending of this message, however a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. |

I used to easily find mayo 2 for 5, but it's seriously like 5.78 I was so shocked. Someone working there walked by me and asked if I needed anything. I asked what happened to the mayonaise crop. hehe She said yeah, I know. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1548152 United States 09/27/2011 12:49 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hog Wild: The Great Bacon Crime Spree of 2011 Quoting: Elenin Well, now it’s come to this: Thieves are stealing hogs — sometimes dozens, sometimes hundreds — from farms in the Midwest. That was reported by the New York Times, prompting the Fark headline: “Bacon thieves on the rise in down economy.” For the record, it’s not easy to steal one hog, never mind a hundred: They usually weigh close to 300 pounds — more than the average man. bad application of "law of averages" |
