Question: If Nasa suggests that these comets have no effect on the sun, then why is this time lapse, on the Sungrazing Comets page, showing an obvious reaction?

Here is the data confirming that Nasa was monitoring the OCT 1st sungrazer.
Apparently it comes from the Kruetz group of comets.

Why no official statement?

Could a charged comet pull a cme as it passes by?

That video was LAME, it didn't show anything but a normal CME. Maybe a comet was passing, but they do that ALL the time. So why, using your logic, aren't they popping off ALL the time?
I hope this clears it up for you. Do you even realize the difference in size? Sun=gigantic Comet=tinny tiny.

Would one effect the other? Sure, the Sun burns them up like nobodies business. Comet effect the Sun? Not so much.
I love physics. It bonds us eternally, it's what makes our computers work, it's what's in my morning cup of coffee, it's the thing that keeps the universe from vanishing due to lack of belief...
