Apple IOS 5 Update

I don't have any Apple products but it looks like the massive update fixes MAJOR BUGS and fixes scores of security vulnerabilities in Mac OS X, iOS and related software.

In other words after this update iOS actually might be an operating system that works well.

why no IPHONE 5??

Lost all ringtones

Can't even update my 3GS OS at all from this computer. Never could figure it out. It worked without any issue in my much older computer but it died...

I got 4S anyway.

Been watching the tech blog-o-sphere to see if there's any major problems.

Usually good to wait 7-10 business days from any update to actually accept / install it.

So far all looks positive save for some day of release server capacity issues.

May install it this weekend....not sure yet.

It's great, I love it, best update EVER!

I do recommend 1) Check and update your computer's OS and restart 2) Check and update your iTunes and restart 3) download and upgrade your iPhone's OS 4) do not us other programs while upgrading. 5) one last restart for the computer and iPhone.

My instillation failed and wiped out my iPhone. Took six hours from start to finish to reinstall and reboot. No phone service the whole time and was a little scared it destroyed my phone.

Gotta love all the android fanboys who troll every thing mentioning apple on the web.

It's jealousy.
