My daughter created a fake student account for me so we could share pictures while she was studying for 6 months in Australia. I know what FB is and what it is used for. I only post stuff now that I wouldn't mind being being seen on the front page of any newspaper....Including pics of me in a tin foil hat!! LOL Remember, Anything you post ...ANYWHERE ...on the Internet..can and will be used against you. I still run across a post that I made back in the UNIX days to a BBS regarding a volcano erupting in the Pacific. How frightening is that??? |

You need to build up a certain kind of trust with your fellow employees for a year or so, gain their trust or confidence in you, knowing or accepting what kind of opinions you express outside the job and how much they can tolerate yours or agree with you in some ways. If a HR manager, assistant manager, supervisor, or an employee you are comfortable with try to friend-request you in FB, deny or ignore the request for a year or so. If one of them persist in friend-requesting you, block them and tell them at work that it is for your privacy reasons. Otherwise, fuck 'em. |
