I took my foot off the gas, didn't want to scare it.. if I'd had a camera, I would have had more than enough time to take pictures of it... when the cougar got to about 15 feet in front of my car it loaped toward the ditch and with, seemingly no extra effort, not missing a beat, it went over the ditch and into the bush.. I was in awe... stopped feeling sorry for myself, and continued on my way home feeling like I was the luckiest person in the world to have seen this beautiful, graceful cat!
