Why No Wasps This Summer?

We have plenty down here. Bees as well. South Texas.

They were all at my house in California

In Az. same here haven't had one wasp nest...last year we had dozens.... radiation maybe??

They were all over my house before moving, now they are under the rim of our pool.

We had a ton in Virginia too! Everyone in my family was stung at least once this summer except me :)

If you are talking about european wasps , their numbers can be significantly reduced if there has been alot of rain in late spring early summer . This floods the nests . But , I believe you have had fires , this is probably the reason no wasps or few , they have been burnt .

According to OWS the WASP and jewish people are busy hiding their money. Just kidding. I usually see at least one wasp, but this year ive seen none come to think of it.

They are all in Texas.

Not too many fires in our area this summer, but enough in the rest of the state that I suppose it may have fried them!

Now if that would only work for the swarms of skeeters.

Haven't seen any skeeters in Texas the summer. Just wasps and some bees. I guess it's been too dry for them.

Plenty of wasps, bees and bumblebees here.
