This is an interesting volcano. There has been some recent earth quakes.

it has been a while since it has erupted. Last time was 4 to 6 thousand years ago.

Yes and Mauna Loa has eruption on approx a 14 year stint but it's way overdue too!

Mauna Kea they thought to be extinct not dormant, big diff but what do we really know eh!

theres alot of of really deep quake activity around the globe and also volcanic activity i dare say there will soon be some eruptions of an epic proportions
