And you are scared of terrorists on planes? LOL! [ link to www.telegraph.co.uk] Plane nosedives 6,000 feet after pilot presses wrong button
A Japanese plane narrowly escaped disaster after a co-pilot pressed the wrong button, causing it to nosedive and spin over the Pacific.
The All Nippon Airways (ANA) aircraft, carrying 117 passengers and crew, almost flipped over entirely as it dived 6,234 feet in 30 seconds following the error.
The incident occurred when the co-pilot confused command switches while trying to unlock the cockpit cabin door for the captain who was returning from the lavatory. I would have soiled my pants. |
