Romans 8:15
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, ""Abba," Father."

Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of passing judgment on his opinions. –Romans 14:1

The Dreamer's Dream

Somewhere in the universe
Far beyond the darkest dark
There where stars don't sparkle
And the moons don't shine
I hide my soul in emptyness
And cut the lifeless line

Somewhere down the waterfront
Far below the deepest deep
There where cold gets colder
And life is nowhere near
I hide my heart in loneliness
And cry the tearless tear

But somewhere in eternity
Far behind the timeless time
There where distance dominates
And silence rules the word
I'll save my soul from endlessness
And fight the hurting hurt

For somewhere in the darkest skies
There shines my brightest bright
And I know I will rise again
Make sure my rays will beam
I'll soak my heart in happiness
And live the dreamer's dream

Do you regularly write poem?
 Quoting: OneEyedWoman

Thank you very much! I do write poems and stories, on all kinds of subjects and in various tones and allthough I prefer to write with a humorous twist, messages of hope and trying to make people see things in a different perspective. I must admit, sometimes I get sidetracked and it can take months or longer before I write again. And most of my latest poems are in my native language, Dutch.

You can see that in my postings too. Our society is so much based on fear, hatred and mistrust, that we forget the strenght we carry inside ourselves, to help ourselves and others through darker times. Believe in yourself and others in the greatest gift we got. Of course that is not always easy, but if you give up the belief and strenght within yourself, someone might as well turn out the light of the moon... ;-)

I do not believe in a specific God, but I do believe in people unconditionally. Some call that naive, but I rather be called naive and live life now, support where I can, whether that be words or actions and row against the stream, than to close my eyes for hurt, anger and hate and see others fall, where a lending hand could have helped out.

If we can bundle our unique strenghts in collectivity, there is nothing harmful that can stop us from getting up when life knocks us down.

What a beautiful heart you have. This life is hard but we do have strength. If we only remember all the past obstacles we have had to overcome and how somehow we have made it over them, then the ones coming our way will be just that...obstacles of the past.
Thank you for this wonderful poem!hf

Look, I don't care that you want to pray, but please do it in private. Religion should be limited to your household.

I think these prayer-threads are polluting this forum. Some people are here to get actual news and information.

Jesus is our final shelter, his sacrifice is our key to God. Never go to God without it. Have this in your mind every day.
May the force of Jesus' sacrifice be with you.
