You obviously didn't read the article.

The key will be how the new economic system in Iceland functions and the article did not address it, but it did show that the People of iceland are on the right track. Capitalism and Socialism both have failed for one resaon and one reason only: greed of a few supported by their ability to lie and deceive and cover it up.

The average high in Reykjavik in December, January and February is 36 F, a lot warmer than many US cities.

There are suspicions here regarding exactly that; question is;
can 'they' do so without clogging up the rest of europe again?

The changing patterns of the gulf stream havebeen most interesting to note; ever since the Gulf oil attack job, the stream has been generating a lot of tropical storms, some getting quite close to us, most having worse effect elsewhere...

At the same time, we still have fat cats and class variation here, such things leave not easily...
personally, regarding the whole debt thing; well, let's see if we can live the next 14 years without money (no job/no unemploymnt benefits)...
I cannot see fair in paying other's bills when I wasn't even invited to the banquet.

A realization of this fact is happening on an unprecedented scale. Look around. The only three countries that do not have a Rothschild central bank, are the ones the US has "conqured" or ones the US plans on "conquering". This article is filled with errors::s226:

- Iceland isn't a member of the EU and being a member of the EFTA is an entirely different issue; none of the EFTA member states are members of the EU
- In 2003, Iceland’s debt wasn't equal to 200 times its GNP; that would be $1.7tn
- Iceland did not declare bankruptcy
- Geir Haarde negotiated a $2.1bn loan from the IMF, not a $2.1m loan
- Holland isn't the same as the Netherlands and Great Britain isn't the same as the UK
- Who's the FMI? Is this supposed to be the IMF or the FME or is our author getting all continental on us?
- Following the March referendum the IMF didn't freeze its loan to Iceland, it just reviewed the arrangements but nothing stopped
- Iceland gained its independence from Denmark in 1944, not 1918
- Denmark and Iceland's constitutions aren't the same; there are substantial constitutional and human rights differences,
- 'Collapse' by Jared Diamond deals with Greenland not Iceland

This is kind of misleading. 2 of the 3 banks that went bankrupt were split up, their assets devalued by an independent body and sold to the very parties that bankrupted them. Now instead of passing the savings on of the devalued assets, they are being re valued at 100 percent.
