Halloween just became a little creepier for me
A local news story just made this Halloween a little more creepy for me.

For 9 years I lived at 1759 Stonehedge Court.  I just learned that 20 years ago there had been a murder 3 doors down at 1765.

I swear I used to see shadows, hear voices and observe other unexplained phenomena.  Our dog at the time, Mr. Precious, would bark for no reason then run scared with his tail down.

That is also the place I had heard that ghostly voice say "good night" as I has kissed one of my cats goodnight and was heading to bed.

Wondering now if I did have a real paranormal experience there.

Don't be afraid of ghosts.

Be afraid of poltergeists.

Those ghosts sounded harmless.

Last December we still lived there. Before going to bed I had turned off all lights, was walking toward the stairs and had noticed one of my cats, "Smokeybear" jumping up on his cat tree, getting comfortable.

So I walked over to him, gave him a kiss on this head, a little scratch, turned on the lights to the stairwell. As I removed my hand, Smokey looked at me, and I heard as clear as someone was standing next to me say "GOOD NIGHT" in this airy voice.

It gave me goosebumps, sent shivers down my spine, and made me scream. (and I am 47 year old, 46 then, retired Marine, I don't scare too easily).

The voice was not in my head, it was very clear, It was very airy, and breathy, like a voice of someone exhaling out to speak...just fucking creepy.

Think of it like this. It takes great effort to speak without a voice box... and your ghost doesn't sound evil, it sounded like it was just saying Good Night. It probably noticed your love for your cat, the tenderness, so tried to offer some of it's own in mimicry of it's own good memories.

Ahhh HELL NO! Lol
At least the ghost was friendly chuckle
Just kidding!

So, did the ghosts scare you and your family out of the house??

Funny thing,
My best friend told me about her experiences she's been having at her job.
She's a care taker for mentally disabled adults and she works the graveyard shift. So, she's alone at the house
while they sleep preparing meals etc.
She told me one night she walked past this room (that is always locked and no one is allowed in there) and she her people talking and shuffling papers.
Then another time she told me she heard a baby crying.
She was seriously shaken up from those experiences!

I told her to say a prayer and carry a cross!
Lol.

She told me that she talked to the other girls that work the other shifts at the place and they've experienced similar things.
