You cannot be real to utter such nonsense, read in the Bible:

14“‘Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from his people. 15For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death. 16The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant. 17It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested. Exodus 31

NOTHING about Catholics and their Sundays. BTW, neither about jewish people and their Saturdays.

The biblical sabbath is lunar
. Keep it holy.

And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant-- these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations." Isaiah 56:7

"Lunar???"

Jesus arose on Sunday Christians honor this fact. Jesus went to temple to worship His Father before He established His New Covenant Church. Christians in the New Covenant gather to worship God. The highest form of worship is the
Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

God was unhappy with the Sabbath and said He was going to
change it and He did to honor His Son.

In the New Covenant, the first Christians gathered to
worship God on the "first day of the week." To "break
bread"...the Eucharist.

John gave it a new name, the Sabbath is now the Lord's Day.

In another thread, you are one who doesn't understand the difference between God's oral Word and His written Word.

After several explanations.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3635211

No, not personally. God has revealed the change. You only have to believe. Read the first reference.

+ + +

Isaiah 1:13 - God begins to reveal His displeasure with the Sabbath.

Matt. 28:1; Mark 16:2,9; John 20:1,19- the Gospel writers purposely reveal Jesus' resurrection and appearances were on Sunday. This is because Sunday had now become the most important day in the life of the Church.

Acts 20:7 - this text shows the apostolic tradition of gathering together to celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday, the "first day of the week." Luke documents the principle worship was on Sunday because this was one of the departures from the Jewish form of worship.

1 Cor. 16:2 - Paul instructs the Corinthians to make contributions to the churches "on the first day of the week," which is Sunday. This is because the primary day of Christian worship is Sunday.

Col. 2:16-17 - Paul teaches that the Sabbath was only a shadow of what was fulfilled in Christ, and says "let no one pass judgment any more over a Sabbath."

2 Thess. 2:15 - we are to hold fast to apostolic tradition, whether it is oral or written. The 2,000 year-old tradition of the Church is that the apostles changed the Sabbath day of worship from Saturday to Sunday.

Heb. 4:8-9 - regarding the day of rest, if Joshua had given rest, God would not later speak of "another day," which is Sunday, the new Sabbath. Sunday is the first day of the week and the first day of the new creation brought about by our Lord's resurrection, which was on Sunday.

Heb. 7:12 - when there is a change in the priesthood, there is a change in the law as well. Because we have a new Priest and a new sacrifice, we also have a new day of worship, which is Sunday.

Rev 1:10 - John specifically points out that he witnesses the heavenly Eucharistic liturgy on Sunday, the Lord's day, the new day of rest in Christ.

Matt. 16:19; 18:18 - whatever the Church binds on earth is bound in heaven. Since the resurrection, Mass has been principally celebrated on Sunday.

The Sabbath is the Lord's day.

Resurrection is commemorated at baptism. Sabbath was never changed.

Can't be disgusting to be anti-Catholic since Jesus blessed us with the Revelation. It says blessed are they who read and understand the prophecy within.

The Revelation of Saint John the Devine

1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John:

1:2 Who bore record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

1:3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

error, right... The Apostles got it wrong? John is in error referring to the "Lord's Day?"

What in the world do you profess the "Lord's Day" is?

I welcome your explanation.

The "Lord´s day" is about resurrection only. The Sabbath is about rest from work. Get it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3635211

You have some explaining to do. You can't help yourself, kinda Catholic thinking though. The Apostles wanted to honor Jesus because He arose on Sunday.

Here is the verse from Revelation

Rev 1:10
"I was in the spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,"

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4408034

Again, the biblical Sabbath has never been Sunday. Two different stories.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3635211

Clever...

That's right...the Lord's Day is Sunday. Which day is
the Lord's Day according to you? Not going to reply are
you?

Down to one sentence again. You're not going to take my
challenge and post a rebuttal to all those Scripture verses I put up and their meaning. Church teaching. Cause you can't.

The Gospel is a part of the Bible. God prophesied the
Sabbath would be changed, the first Christians gathered
on the first day of the week.

Seeee...why God established an authority to interpret
Scripture? Everyone would decide for themselves S.

claim:
The biblical sabbath is lunar.

reply:
The Sabbath is the 7th day of the week based on the weekly cycle not any calendar.
 Quoting: James 4160679

The Sabbath was changed to the eighth day, read the Gospel,
the first Christians gathered together on the first day of the week.

And Slovakia,

According to you, since they are two different things, share,
when is the "Lord's Day" celebrated?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4408034

Never changed.

Hebrews 4:4 For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

4:6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

4:7 Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day,
after so long a time; as it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

4:9 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.

The apostles gathered together does not change anything. Read that passage where they went on a long trip that day. Not something done on a Sabbath.

The Sabbath is the Lord's day we are told in Matthew. The resurrection is commemorated at baptism (Romans).

"Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. ... knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." Romans 6:4-6.

the world do you mean?

Ah...the Lord's Day is Easter? What!!!! Explain.

James,

We know when the Apostles and the first Christians gathered
together, it's changes something entirely. You want
to deny.

The first day of the week is when Jesus arose. You can't
go back. We honor Jesus and the Father now worshiping Them
on Sunday and God the Holy Spirit on the "first day of the week."

Keeping the Lord's Day involves worship just like in the
Old Testament. Jesus didn't go to the temple to rest. You can't using PO say it is only a requirement of rest by God. I've never heard this one. PO is worthless.

Heb. 4:8-9 - regarding the day of rest, if Joshua had given rest, God would not later speak of "another day," which is Sunday, the new Sabbath. Sunday is the first day of the week and the first day of the new creation brought about by our Lord's resurrection, which was on Sunday.

Sorry fella, the Apostles, the first Christians knew the
day Jesus died. It wasn't called Friday, doesn't matter
they shared with their successors and it was passed on...

You are not doing a very good job of rebuttal, this is nonsense. I guess the reason for all these new verses
that apply to what?

I am not going into an explanation on the difference of
numbering of the Commandments. You deny the Lord's Day,
that's a little more important. And can't explain.

"Day of Resurrection"...tell me...is what day?
