La Palma Resident - website refuting mega-tsunami theories
I'm not saying anything one way or the other but there does seem to be a lot of hype and info in mainstream media about the possibility of a mega-tsunami were part of La Palma island to plunge into the Atlantic due to volcanic activity.

This link leads to a website by a La Palma resident who is tired of being told the island is a dangerous place to live. He thinks the tsunami wave theories have been given 'the Spielberg treatment'. Here he lists information and resources refuting the mega-tsunami theories.

And they would be correct, a landslide at La Palma is the equivalent of dropping a bar of soap in a swimming pool..

Pretty weak.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. It is good to see and hear both sides.
