fucking facebook was pinging my machine after I logged off the net!


using netstat I did some sluething, facebook started pinging when I started up Mozilla, even without an internet connection, so it has hitched itself to my browser!


isn't this unauthorized access to a computer?

the point is, facebook is officially a virus and attempting to log activity inside private offline computers

Deleting my facebook, about almost one year ago, was one of the best things I ever did. Growing up as a teenager during the Myspace revolution, and obviously switching to facebook, it was a VERY hard thing to do.

Call me crazy, but deleting my facebook was one of the events in my life that led me to find who God is in my heart. My friendships are not as artificial as before. Life is good.

Yea, it makes me suspicious when just about everywhere you go theirs a face book & tweet icons encouraging you to use it. Control freaks!

damn yea! pretty tempting to press the "F" button! Initially it was difficult! every time I used to login to my pc! I used to press the "F" button to login to faceboob! even after deleting my account! But now its all good!

Even if you delete it, they still have all of your info that you posted on your page.

so am I correct in inferring you do not actually have a concrete revenue stream via facebook (like you are not running google ads on your facebook page for example), you are merely interpolating a certain percentage of your business revenue to the free advertising you get when people "like" your companies on facebook?

Delete your Facebook all you want. Your Privacy has already been shot to hell. Even if Facebook won't get you, there are numerous other ways you are being watched, tracked and monitored. Deleting your Facebook will only make a tiny dent in the world of electronic surveillance and monitoring. Good luck. Even those who do not own computers are totally fucked. If you live on the grid, your fucked. That's all there is too it. So go ahead and delete your facebook if it makes you feel comfortable. I personally only keep mine to keep in touch with friends I normally wouldn't otherwise but if it weren't for that I'd delete mine because I see no other purpose in having it.

While your all looking how Facebook is invading your computer privacy your ignoring the multiple other possibilities that exist out there that are doing the same thing.
