Quoting: _2 swords_ Pretty much your question. So you do not see anything wrong with all tv & radio stations being taken over by a single entity (gov't) and how that could be unconstitutional? What if they were to take it over for a week a month, would you question it then? the right to free speech might be suspended during a national emergency. Exactly my point. How are we to be assured that this EAS system does not fall into the hands of a supressive regime that uses it to suppress our free speech and press? How are we then to know what is actually happening in various parts of the country? We really need to question this...IMO
