if you live in any type of metropolitan area then you have probably seen them, years ago.

Seems like if it was the power supply it would not have came back on by itself & reboot...just wondering if it might have been related to yesterdays test.

it could, sometimes a power surge or a faulty power supply will cause a reboot. happened to me before

In Mexico, in nearly every Mall, there are guard towers to ensure public safety.

And it works, people feel safer doing their shopping without being robbed and cars don't receive hit and runs or scratches.

It's no biggy, plus this video is nearly four years old or more.

Guy at work says Dallas is a test video they've had um for 15 years.

I saw this (or similar) video last winter. I got in my car and went to the Vancouver, (Washington) mall. Sure enough, there was one of these scissor-jack towers in a trailer towed by a Suburban. Nobody was around the car or the tower, so I was able to get a good look.

It hasn't been around lately, but I'm sure that's not the last I will see of them.
