Australia - 1 minute silence - 11/11 every year @ 11:11am

I remember in the late 1950's we had here in the USA a minute of silence 11/11 at 11:11 am. I was in elementary school at the time.

Its actually at 11am exactly every 11th of November not 11:11!!!!

Are you sure because it wasn't 11am when they started the service on radio. maybe.... I'm not really sure, suss as though...

As an Australian citizen your supposed to know that stuff.
