Why is Patience supposed to be a good thing?

People put up with your nonsense, don't they?

.......I suppose they do.......lol

Therefore...

why is " patience " a vitrue?

why cant " hurry the fuck up " be a virtue?

Exactly! My Christian friends are ALWAYS telling me that I need to have "Patience", and wait upon God!

But I wonder if this just isn't an excuse for NOT getting what they prayed for, right away.......?

Patience is important due to the law of attraction and Karmic influences.

If you force an issue into a conclusion, the conclusion might turn out better if you dont force the results and allow issues to resolve more naturally.

The law of attractions maintains that your dominate thoughts are returned. If those thoughts are not positive, negative results could occur.

In other words; when we plant a garden, there is a certain amount of time that is necessary to wait for........and during THAT time, we envision the product! So the creative process needs the nourishment of Patience.

Although, a friend of mine told me about a certain accomplished Chi Master who would put an Orange seed in his hands, and then close them.......and then when he opened them again, there would be the Orange! Somehow, he could overcome the "Patience" part......?

I think patience helps us make rational decisions, rather than jumping to our first Emotional response. Have patience, take the time to really think about the next move, instead of using emotional impulses to control your life.

Patience in itself is neither good nor bad.

Knowing/not knowing when to apply it might do you good or bad.
