That way they set the bar on removing Christianity from the USA. That's how Gnostics work. They did the same in the Christian schools. [link to en.wikipedia.org] |

User ID: 5721648 United States 11/24/2011 08:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They call him Big Mountain Jesus: a six-foot statue of Christ, draped in a baby blue robe and gazing out over the majestic Flathead Valley from his perch along a ski run at the Whitefish Mountain Resort in Montana. Quoting: Athiests Suck Donkey Schlong 842983 He has been there for more than 50 years, erected by the local Knights of Columbus chapter in honor of the soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division who told of seeing similar shrines in the mountains of Italy during World War II. An atheist group says that because Big Mountain Jesus stands on United States Forest Service property, it is in violation of the constitutional principle separating church and state. [link to www.nytimes.com] The KoC will probably have to move the statue to private ground if the athiests get their way (I hope they do not get their way this time). Gosh they are such cry babies. User ID: 3818533 United States 11/24/2011 08:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Removing a statue, big deal... You cant remove the Holy Spirit out of a believer now can you? Only hurting yourselves Atheists. Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed." John 6:27-58 You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. -James 4:4 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. -Galatians 6:7 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. -Colossians 2:8 Rev 13:9-10 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; (Betraying your family and friends) he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. (Guns!) Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. |

It's when they push their bitter beliefs on others that I can't stand them. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 842983 Their conscience is bothering them. I guess they bang their own drums to the "if we can't see it, it won't hurt us" mantra. The similar atheist outrage caused a memorial cross to be removed from a veterans memorial in a nearby community to me, about 18 years ago. The politician in charge of the grounds where the cross was at, knuckled under the atheists lawsuit, even though THOUSANDS of people in the area came out to support the war memorial cross.Even the liberal catholic bishop for the area at that time, knuckled under to the atheists demands, along with one liberal priest. The priest and the bishop both said that we all need to be more "sensitive" to the feelings of others. So, the cross was ordered to be taken down. The day before it was taken down, the right hand fell off the corpus on the cross. The politician who knuckled under the atheists demands, against the will of the people, was convicted of stealing money from the township, and other crimes. The bishop who wanted to be "sensitive" to the atheists, had a stroke, and had to resign his position because of his incapacitation. The liberal priest, who also wanted to be 'sensitive" to the atheists, died of cancer. All 3 got theirs within 3 years. Coincidence??? Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |
