US Airways 'refuses to refund terminal cancer patient tickets for her dream trip' after she was too sick to fly

A Washington-area woman with terminal breast cancer had to cancel a dream trip to Belize because of her illness, and claims the airline won’t refund her money.

Lynn McKain told WUSA 9 TV that US Airways refused to refund five tickets for her and her family, which totalled $4200.

She and her family were set to fly out of Baltimore/Washington International Airport January 20. Mrs McKain’s doctor told her she had to forgo the trip to receive treatment for her stage four breast cancer.
