I bought the cheaper cornflakes to put on a casserole that I was taking to a pot luck. We don't eat cereal so it didn't matter to me at the time. We usually only buy organic. So what is my point ??
I had read a study done by North Dakota farmers with reagards to feeding their cattle GMO -vs- non-GMO corn; the cattle would not eat the GMO corn if they were given the the option of non-GMO corn. They only ate it they had "no other food soutce"- so basically only if they were going to starve.
I took the remaining GMO cornflakes that I had leftover and decided to give it to the squirrels, rabbits and deer that frequent my bird feeding area. Well, those corn flakes have been outside for 4 days and nights and not one animal has touched them.
Just an FYI for GLPers.
