48 hour hangover?
I'm so pissed right now.

I normally never drink, I view it as poison. I'm a Medical cannabis patient and I'm livid that cannabis puts people in jail without a card, yet they can go drink something that will make them ill, or die.

I drank about 6 - 8 shots Saturday night, and blacked out...I woke up yesterday morning with worst hangover ever, and as I type this I'm still nausea, dizzy, headache, tired, no appetite. I force ate yesterday and drank tons of water and a few aspirin.

WTF DO I DO?

AM I PERMA HUNG OVER????? NEVER DRINKING AGAIN.

In 1998 1400 people died in USA as DIRECT RESULT OF ALCOHOL POISON.

drinking and driving causes over 25,ooo deaths a year. overall 100,000 deaths occur each year due to the effects of alcohol.Correction: According to the NHTSA web site (nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov/pdf/nrd-30/NCSA/RNotes/2006/810686.pdf), there were 43,443 alcohol related traffic fatalities in 2005 in the USA. As a comparison, AIDS claimed 18,000 lives in 2003.
How can alcohol be blamed for 100,000 deaths each year?
5% of all deaths from diseases of the circulatory system are attributed to alcohol.
15% of all deaths from diseases of the respiratory system are attributed to alcohol.
30% of all deaths from accidents caused by fire and flames are attributed to alcohol.
30% of all accidental drownings are attributed to alcohol.
30% of all suicides are attributed to alcohol.
40% of all deaths due to accidental falls are attributed to alcohol.
45% of all deaths in automobile accidents are attributed to alcohol.
60% of all homicides are attributed to alcohol.

(Sources: NIDA Report, the Scientific American and Addiction Research Foundation of Ontario.) Also see Alcohol Consumption and Mortality, Alcohol poisoning deaths, CDC report,
100,000 deaths. That's more than a statistic. That is 100,000 individuals with faces. 100,000 individuals with lives not fully lived. 100,000 individuals grieved by mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and children. Every year.

It's called getting older. Used to never get hung over, now I get 2 day hang overs if I go out and take shots all night. The only cure is water and sleep...maybe some bacon pizza.

tree will definitely help you ease the effects of that hangover. You should be fine by morning. Smoke a blunt and get some food in you.

Re: 48 hour hangover?
I don't drink much anymore, but I've found the best way to prevent a hangover (besides not drinking) is to drink a lot of water before going to bed...

Re: 48 hour hangover?
the statistics speak for themselves

5% of all deaths from diseases of the circulatory system are attributed to alcohol.

that means 95% were not down to alcohol

15% of all deaths from diseases of the respiratory system are attributed to alcohol.

85% were not down to alcohol

30% of all deaths from accidents caused by fire and flames are attributed to alcohol.

70% were by sober people

30% of all accidental drownings are attributed to alcohol.

70% were by sober people

30% of all suicides are attributed to alcohol.

70% were by sober people

40% of all deaths due to accidental falls are attributed to alcohol.

60% are caused by people being sober

45% of all deaths in automobile accidents are attributed to alcohol.

55% are sober drivers

60% of all homicides are attributed to alcohol.

40% are down to sober people

so there you have it

if you want to avoid deaths from circulary and respiratory problems

avoid accidental fires

drownings

suicides

or falls

drive safer then a sober person

get drunk stay drunk

if you want to make sure when you kill someone you shoot straight

make a list and get drunk

so there you have it alcohol is safer then staying sober

your better off drunk

Re: 48 hour hangover?
After 2-3 weeks of continuous drinking, 2-3 bottles of vodka per day, I will have hangover for more than a week often with seizures and hallucinations. However by taking the right medication I can minimize the after effect of prolonged drinking but the side effects of those drugs mean that I am mostly in bed. Take care you will be ok.
