You are very right, the soul is at stake
I agree that TPTB do like the way China has kept their populace in line and may be adopting more of their policies in the near future

But I disagree with your views on the chinese people, and I disagree that they've been programmed to the extent you think they are

1. Some, not all, a lot of them just want to be left alone in peace like most people on the planet
2. Wrong, family values in the east are far stronger than in the west, so is justice
3. and 8. contradict eachother
6. They do mind, it is just that the people have little say, and have lots of propaganda to wade through
7. Gimme some statistics please

But it does not surprise me that there is less regard for human life by the chinese government (hence the human rights issues there), when you start viewing the world like a machine (overly technical, atheistic world view), with parts that can be replaced, then you're much more likely to trample on human rights when you view them as cogs
It comes as no surprise that the top 8 officials in the chinese government are engineers and scientists

There is nothing wrong with technology, just don't let your head and heart become RULED by it, that is when you lose your senses and your humanity
