I wish we had better tsunami warning buoys. I think I'll have to hassle a few local MP's.

As you can see on this map we are woefully under resourced in this area, and the one in the kermadec range is about as far away from the eq 'hit zones' as the land, and not in event mode.

Oh well, lucky I live inland and high up I suppose.


Side Note and (not)completely off topic: a huge 3/4 orange moon just popped over the horizon. Beautiful and just a little doomy.
