I need ways to trick MY parents into thinking I swallowed a pill!

I am trying too!
I was doing good until I had an outbreak and the BAM back on the pill!!

I really should read a whole thread before posing Qs. Psychologists huh? It's rough to get through to them. All four of them live with you? What state?

try to find some vitamins or sugar pills or something that look like the prozac and throw the prozac away and put the other in the bottle? Long shot i know but just an idea.

Is that not illegal? Forcing you to take meds against your will?
Anyway, I think that because of your age, if you said you will choose to move out instead, and call their bluff, they will probably relent.

fake an allergic reaction too it. like a skin rash etc. prozack is awfully strong.
try putting it in the creases of your hand. under the back of your tongue. or using a non clear cup and slip it back in the water. that last one even worked for chicks i knew in prison.

Anyhow, my personal battle with depression when I was younger was something that meds couldnt fix. Like you the symptoms on the medecine were WAY worse than the original depression and by symptoms I mean the physical and emotional/mental.

For me it was something I had to work out in my own head, not because I was "wired" wrong which is what they like to say to push meds on you.

Looking back now it all seems so silly and I wish I hadnt wasted my late teens and early 20s feeling down all the time. Hopefully you will be able to look back one day too and smile.

I suggest to you that you take a break from DOOM and GLP. Its hard to gain a positive outlook on life when everyday you come on here and hear stories of how shitty the world is and how there is no hope for humanity.

Tis very much a longshot, but hell I'm desperate!

Maybe you can start printing off stories like the one below and start leaving them around your house for your parents to read. This is the most recent I've read but I know there are a lot of articles discussing the dangers of these drugs especially in young people.

wash it down with coffee then spit the pill into the coffee remaining in the mug as you take a sip. If you practice it you will do it flawlessly.

I realize you have probably already tried to slip it under your tongue but have you ever tried pushing it up under your upper or lower lip with your tongue as you're pretending to swallow it?

If you are so under control your parents are checking your cheek pockets, you probably need to take something. Have you talked to them about why you don't want to take Prozac. There are many other antidepressants, some of which actually work.

It is silly to feel down all the time!
Depression is a defense mechanism for bad times. Well to me it is. When something goes wrong I just clamp up and sometimes I have a hard time opening back up!

If you want to get depressed, google suicide and prozac.

Prozac shuts the part of your brain down that controls inhibitions. One of the biggest inhibitions is suicide, we are actually programmed not to kill ourselves. (I once broke out in a sweat just trying to get a drop of blood for a blood sugar test. It's a strong inhibition.)

Another inhibition is the need to lash out and hurt others. We tend to keep these as thoughts in our head, but a person on prozac is more likely to carry them out. (Ever imagine punching your boss?) Which is why school shooters are found to have been on anti-depressants.

How could anyone give this drug to someone that the love?

You probably don't even need the drug. You are 16, you're hormonal, that's what happens to teens. Everyone goes through it, but doctors are so easy to just hand out these drugs that make you "normal" and tell you you need these drugs to function for the rest of your life to get through the "depression." It's sad really...

What if you are crazy and actually need the medication? and you come here on GLP and act normal but nobody knows the real you so people feel sorry for you and make you think you don't need the meds... but then again maybe im the crazy one that needs medication...

Since your parents CLAIM to be Christian, keep telling them that Jesus is able to fix your issues without the assistance of poisons, er chemicals, er "medication." If they want to argue with the fact that He is ABLE to do so, throw this one at them:

It does make you want to slice yourself.
I had an urge to do it last night, I got so upset over nothing ( I was on prozac).

They love, just too carefully.

Go buy a cup with a straw in it. Always use it put the pill on the end of your tongue and push it into the straw. May take practice and will have to be colored so they can't see it. Is it capsule or pill form?

If its capsule I'd go empty every one of them and stick them back in the bottle.

When they check to see if you have swallowed the capsule, hold it with your tongue to the roof of your mouth like you are showing them it is not under your tongue.
Then quickly close your mouth and shift it to be under your tongue and show them the open mouth with pill hidden under your tongue.

Practice with a Benadryl capsule.

Another option might be to open the capsules and empty them and replace with corn starch or other harmless white substance.

But who is in charge of giving you the pills and checking?

I've tried Vitamin d3, but my dad got mad and threw it all out.

I will look into those, and show them it too, if they are willing to look at it.
