(I once broke out in a sweat just trying to get a drop of blood for a blood sugar test. It's a strong inhibition.) Another inhibition is the need to lash out and hurt others. We tend to keep these as thoughts in our head, but a person on prozac is more likely to carry them out. (Ever imagine punching your boss?) Which is why school shooters are found to have been on anti-depressants. How could anyone give this drug to someone that the love? That scared the hell out of me! It does make you want to slice yourself. I had an urge to do it last night, I got so upset over nothing ( I was on prozac). They love, just too carefully. don't do that. It's just an impulse to have some control over your body that they have taken away. Don't you have some friends that you can move in with? Apparently your parents have a lot of money and you are addicted to having it. Give it up and move out. You'll survive. Your parents are wrong. |

Ask your doctor to suggest a non-pharmaceutical alternative for you to control depression. Do you have any healthy hobbies that make you feel better when you are depressed? Try to develop yourself more in these areas. The money you save on prescription medication could be spent on guitar lessons, or singing classes, or art class, or horse riding, or surfing, or just travelling. In your photo you look like a stylish girl. Would you like to study fashion design or cosmetology? You could probably get an unpaid internship during the summer pretty easily. I don't want to scare you but trying to quit on your own can be very dangerous. I have seen this from experience. It is a good idea to enjoy your life without the Prozac, just make sure your doctor is involved in the process. Be persistent and make sure your parents and doctor understand that is what you want. It is a conspiracy, these doctors are paid to fill antidepressant scrips for young teens, so the parents think the doctors are looking out for your health... THEY ARE NOT...$$$$$$. From the sound of it, your parents are not listening to your reasoning, so a white lie will have to suffice. I beg of you, do not take the meds... maybe empty the capsules out and put sugar in them??? They will only push you away from the vibrational frequency making you evolve as we speak. Moving forward.
