I started this thread in hopes of other GLP Vegans, Vegetarians welcome too! Please post yummy recipes, how to stay Vegan, or just anything in general relating to the lifestyle! Light &Vibes~  John works 40 hours a week at a factory job. His rate of pay is $12.00 per hour. This week he worked an additional 3.5 hours of overtime for which he is paid $18.00 per hour. If he stops at the bar on the way home and drinks up 40% of his paycheck, how long until his wife piles all his shit up on the sidewalk? |

One tip is to combine many colours of vegetables in your meals, this ensures that the half-proteins in the vegetables get assimilated by your body into full proteins. There's a theme there, right? amino acids will store in the body for long periods of time, so as long as a wide variety is eaten in general, then the amino acids will bind when they can. no need for excessive thought on complimentary proteins, though i do always put rice with my beans :) congrats op. vegan is pretty easy if thought out. it will make sure you make most of your own food :) also, there are always going to be some things you will not get away from. take it all in stride. whole foods, raw when possible. again, congrats! |
